GameNation Network ECO server rules Season V GameNation Network's ECO server rules for Season V are designed to ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players. Rules and laws govern settlement in-game, with rules being created by first citizens and updated over time. Permanent rules apply to all players and cannot be changed, while government rules can be altered by individual towns. All rules are presented in designated areas and must be followed to avoid punishment. All rules are presented in the city center or outside government buildings or designated areas for such rules. In the upcoming season GNN community we are introducing 2 types of rule categories: Permanent rules- apply the whole season and can`t be changed and apply to all members who are playing on this server. Government rules apply to the whole server from the beginning but these rules can be changed, removed, or altered and each town can have different rules and laws. In-game help If any player breaks rules you can/ have to report it to management or staff. You need to open the ticket at the GNN homepage Support ticket and fill it with information. If your ban or friends or issued ruling is too harsh or moderators/admin see the player has broken the rule can give a warning or give punishment by removing or altering your settlement or just removing stuff as punishment you can appeal it the same way by filling Support ticket in GNN homepage. You can use Discord to raise attention to possible rule-breaking in the Eco support section. You can post as well rule-breaking, but if staff ask you to fill a ticket you need to fill a ticket. !!! If a player breaks rules and another sees it and posts or reports it in Discord no action will be taken unless it is in official ticket form through our Game Nation network page since the Discord claim can't be taken officially.!!! Permanent rules These rules apply to the whole game and can't be changed at any time. Players are not allowed to bypass any of the rules. All players must abide by the rules set by the GameNation Network for the safety and fairness of all players. If any player is found to be breaking the rules, appropriate action will be taken by the management or staff. It is important to report any rule-breaking to the proper channels so that the issue can be addressed promptly and efficiently. We take cheating and harassment seriously and will not tolerate the use of hacks, mods, or discriminatory behavior towards other players. Use English when communicating in general chat. This helps to ensure that everyone can understand and participate in the conversation. Choose a nickname or username that is appropriate and respectful. Avoid using any names that are discriminatory, offensive, or disrespectful to others. Also, no famous/ recognizable names. Do not intentionally harm or harass other players. This includes griefing, stealing, or repeatedly bothering others with messages or actions. All civil issues are to be handled without toxicity. Refrain from discussing political or religious topics in the chat. This can help to keep the chat friendly and inclusive for everyone. (except unless it is in a game made up of factions.) Discrimination based on citizenship is prohibited. Meaning that if a non-citizen or said city wants to visit the city he is allowed to do so. It includes getting materials in such areas as well, but there can be limited areas to such players as well, but not the whole town or city RP Highly encouraged to solve disputes in-game (Court Hearings) Builds must be realistic (No floating buildings etc.) This includes bridges and tunnels and underground and above-land existing structures. You may not claim land adjacent to another player’s claim without their permission. Meaning that neighboring, competing claims should have a strip of unclaimed land in between them. The resources in this space are available to either person Builds must be realistic (No floating buildings etc.) This includes bridges and tunnels and underground and above-land existing structures. We do not tolerate Alt accounts. Anyone found having alt accounts playing will have it banned with no warning. When settlements are introduced with their laws. Laws must have a description of what this law is doing or providing to this settlement so that newer player get idea for this law. When government rules are to decide to be altered or removed from that settlement must provide at least a few new rules for such settlement in the game and a designated place. Claims that are inactive for more than 20 days can be removed by staff In-game currency can't exist in real-world names. It has to be a fictional made-up name. We encourage players to be active in their settlements and participate in elections. If changes to the rules are desired, new rules must be provided. All citizens must adhere to the rules, and any rule-breaking should be reported promptly. Government rules These rules apply to the whole game or till settlement provides new rules of this town or settlement have been introduced and change any below-listed rules. Concrete rules apply to concrete settlement, not the whole server. So each settlement can have different rules and different exceptions. There can`t be one or two laws or rules that just remove all these laws/rules. When a settlement wants to change/alter or remove these rules then the settlement must provide new rules for such settlement in game and in a designated place. All rules can`t be placed around the city. If settlement does not change any rules below they are still in effect and must be abided by them for all settlement citizens. List of rules: When the first town is built it must have a town hall building contract board and settlement rule board. When government rules are to decide to be altered or removed from that settlement must provide at least a few new rules for such settlement in the game and a designated place. No building higher than 2 floors (including basement as well) in mind that one floor will be counted as 4 block height. See 1st clarification at the end. All buildings and stockpiles around its base must have 1x1 stone roads or different blocks, not dirt which makes a distinction. Does not include roads. See 2nd clarification at the end. The town must have a road system. Meaning the entrance and exit of an existing settlement. When town and next settlement are created roads must be at least 5 blocks wide. But we encourage players to think ahead and build roads for future transportations as well. The settlement has to keep the area clean and must have a trash/ waste law. Which includes the designation of where waste must be deposited or discarded. Clarifications 1st No building higher than 2 floors (including basement as well) in mind that one floor will be counted as 4 block height. As can be seen in the picture below, it shows how high one floor will be, which is 4 blocks high. This means the total height from the ground is 9 blocks. It can be lower, but still, the building can have only 2 floors and it can have one floor above or below ground. If a citizen tries to make the 3rd floor in this 9 high block area it is a breach of rules. Below building ground and can't have a basement with a mining area. If a building is built and less than 9 blocks below is a mining area and citizens build a basement there it is a breach of rules. If a citizen wants to build higher than 9 blocks at the beginning he can do that. But then on the floor designated as 1st floor below it can be only storage for items. The picture below shows how high must be 1 floor at the beginning of the game and 2nd floor can be same high no more. 2nd All buildings and stockpiles around its base must have a 1x1 stone road. Does not include roads. See clarification at the end. This shows how large structures should look. In the picture, it is a stone road but it can be a dirt road as well or crushed blocks, but it must have 1 type around the structure. If different materials are used then it doesn't count. If a settlement has a rule that negates such a rule then there is no need to make it in such manner anymore. 2nd All buildings and stockpiles around its base must have 1x1 stone road.
